Razer Kraken is one of the most popular gaming headsets in the market. It is liked by many gamers because of its high audio quality, lightweight design, and ergonomic ear cups. Razer Kraken V3 Pro is one of the latest additions to the line-up and it is one of my favorite headsets for gaming. Said to be more comfortable and easier than its predecessor, this headset also has significant improvements in sound quality that all gamers are looking for. I’ll tell you more about this device in a few moments. It has the following benefits;
1. Comfortable
This headset is well-built, with a lightweight design and ergonomic ear cups. This means that you won’t have to worry about it resting on your neck too much, which can be quite annoying after a few hours of intense gaming.
2. Expansion
The headset does have some expansion room, but only by a little bit and not as much as the Razer Man O’War headset. It doesn’t mean that it isn’t expandable, though. The Kraken V3 has enough room for four extra pairs of headphones (depending on how wide they are). The green cable has an audio jack and two USB ports that aren’t hidden by the design at all. If you have another headset with a USB jack, you can just plug the USB cable into it. It also has an audio jack to connect your headset to your mobile phone or media player.
3. Extra Durable Sturdy Cables
Talking about the cables, they are a bit more than Razer Kraken V2 cables that have been criticized for being a bit weak. They have better durability and much thicker wire which is great for gaming on PS4s and Xbox Ones where wires are more prone to getting damaged. The mic is retractable so you won’t need to worry about changing positions of it when necessary, but it is not as flexible as the V2 version’s mic that I liked very much.
4. Built-in Volume Control
The volume control button on the headset is also conveniently located at the top of the microphone which makes adjusting volume easier and faster. At no time will you have to take your finger off the controller to adjust the volume. Another benefit of this design is that it can prevent rattling sounds and focus players from accidentally turning up the volume. As for comfort during gameplay, the Kraken V3 Pro is also one of the most comfortable headsets on the market. The ear cups are made out of a very breathable material that allows for some movement of your ears which is great if you wear glasses.
5. Roomy Microphone Pads
The microphone is one thing that I don’t love about Razer Kraken V3 Pro, but it’s not too big of an issue in reality. It has a boom mic and it’s surprisingly large for being built-in to your headset. This means that you don’t have to pull back the mic and adjust its position every time you want to talk in games or answer calls on PS4s, Xbox Ones, PC, and mobile devices.
