Because if you put lines into the game as a game mechanic, it’s just like they are meaningless. No matter what you do, you cant do anything useful with them. They just stand there.
I am not a big fan of random lines from games. They are often annoying or just irritating and serve no purpose other than to be annoying. But I have to admit that some of the lines in the game are pretty interesting. There are two lines that don’t make any sense, but I find them interesting simply because they make sense when put in context. One of the lines is “the last time I saw you, I was your best friend.
The other line is: I’m going to kill you.
So I’m sure its some sort of personal expression, but I can’t help but wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t killed you. Maybe I would have been able to see you again. Maybe things would be different if I hadn’t left you to die. Maybe I would have been able to have a conversation with you that we would have never had.
I don’t know. But what I do know is that I have a feeling you are the only thing that would make things better.
It’s like the saying goes, you should get out of your own way, let the universe take its course. I mean, the universe is the universe. If I had killed you, you wouldn’t have gotten out of your own way. I wouldn’t have been able to have a conversation with you that we would have never had. I wouldn’t have had a better chance with you.
