I am a firm believer in the power of willpower, so that is why I am here. There is nothing more important on this planet than our willpower, that is why I am here. When I am in a dark place, I am reminded that there is still a light within our souls. When we are so deep in the abyss of our own self-delusion that we are unaware of the light, we are bound to lose our way.
If you want to see a very dark mind, one that is willing to work for someone else’s needs, you have to be willing to be on the receiving end of their dark deeds. So if you’re a person who is willing to work for someone else and are caught up in their delusions, you could be the next victim of their dark deeds.
I think there is definitely a dark side to the mind of some of our fellow humans, and this trailer does a good job of showing that. But it also leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
So first, the trailer also leaves some questions unanswered. Like how exactly do you kill someone in a game with no memory of who you are and what you did? Will we be able to do this ourselves? Maybe, but I dont know.
I was thinking this could be solved by using the “kill-or-be-killed” mechanic from the original Devil May Cry, but I think it would just be a matter of making your brain just accept the fact that you are a killer and you have to be one to be able to do it. This would be extremely difficult to achieve though.
I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but I would love to see some more dialogue, more gameplay footage, and more insight into how the game will work.
I think this is a good idea. In Devil May Cry 2, you could select a character and give them the choice of either turning into a killer or being a hero. In Deathloop, the game will assume you are a killer and automatically accept this. You can also take control of a character that is an NPC and make them choose to turn into a killer or be a hero.
I also would love to see more dialogue (and maybe more of the game’s story) in the game. Of course, this is a game and it’s fine to give those who play the game a little bit of a break, but I’m all for more dialogue. If the game is really going to work as it should, we need more from both the writing and the gameplay.
Yes, we are definitely looking into adding more dialogue for the game. I’ve been a fan of Dark Souls since the first game, but that game is a long time ago, and I’m not sure I would want to play the whole Dark Souls experience again.
Yes. I’m all for more dialogue in games, but I think this really needs to be done with the story. The entire Dark Souls experience feels like a lot of exposition and exposition without a story or even a hook for the player to hang their hat on. I’m not saying that the story isn’t good, but Im not seeing the point of the whole thing. You can’t really do anything with the same amount of information.
