My goal is to find a balance between what I want, and what I know I need. This is not an easy thing to find, but it is one that I am learning to do every day.
I’m working on the concept of what I “need” vs. what I “want.” I’m finding that I don’t really know what I “need” to feel satisfied, I don’t even know if I even “want” to be satisfied.
I think that this is a misconception. We think that we know what we need to feel satisfied, and we think that we know what we want. The two are actually separate, even though many of us think that they are the same thing. This is a very common misperception, and one that I hope to address in the future.
What makes us feel satisfied is not necessarily what we want in the moment, but what we need later. This is why there is such a thing as “need-satisfaction” (how much you need something and feel content with it). We need satisfaction because it makes us feel good, which gives us a sense of satisfaction.
This is why I’m always trying to make my articles more “meta.” The main purpose of this is to show that there is no one-size-fits-all philosophy of satisfaction. Different people have different needs, different needs based on how long they’ve been on this planet. This isn’t to say that there’s a one-size-fits-all approach to satisfaction. There is no “perfect” satisfaction.
So if you’re looking for a quick fix to your satisfaction issues, a sure-fire way to get the job done is to have a quick fix. We can’t say that one thing works for everyone. But one quick fix will give you a sense of satisfaction, which you will then use to fuel your desire to seek more.
Control Z solves the problem of frustration by using a combination of three simple tricks to help you get everything done.
