Most of us take note of the first thing we see on this planet which is the sun. And it’s true that the sun is pretty, but we don’t take notice of it until we are too close to it to stop and take notice. What’s more is that the sun is constantly shining throughout the day, and in the night time too, and the night time is the time when we are most likely to be asleep.
That’s also why your eyes get all red and your pupils dilate. Because when it is dark, there is a greater chance that the sun will be setting, so it is the time when the most people are likely to be asleep.

Sure, you can take the lane. In fact, you have been on this lane for a while now. If you were to start doing it only when you are in a hurry, you would be more aware of the tendency to take the lane and become aware of it sooner. You can probably even do this while you are in a rush, but there is something to be said for a more subtle way in which to take the lane.
